PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally. Meet Bella! Bella is the 7 year old, 12 lb. mother of our mother/daughter pair who recently joined our rescue. They were surrendered after her owner could no longer care for them. In their foster home, she has been working hard on their house training, crate-training, and leash walking. Bella is the more mellow of the 2 pups and she would thrive in a home with someone who is home more often than not. Her favorite activity? Being in someone's lap! She could join households with teens, and other small dogs. She has not been exposed to cats! She will bark during play or when other dogs are barking so she may be too loud for an apartment. Their foster says, "Bella and Pumpkin will make someone wonderful lapdogs. They are very loveable, love to be held and love to give kisses. They enjoy spending time outdoors sniffing around the yard. They do pretty good leashed, will sit for treats, are non-destructive and fun to have around. They'll be a treasure for some lucky family. They go outside for bathroom duties but do use a puppy pad inside also. Every once in a while they do miss the puppy pad. They have done better the last few days." She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth in April.
