About Beau
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Beau, affectionately known as "Beau Beau," a sweet and gentle boy ready to find a forever home. Born around June 11, 2024, Beau is a loving orange tabby with a short coat who happens to be positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). His condition is regressive, and thanks to supplements and attentive care, he’s staying healthy and happy. Beau would thrive as either an only cat or with a friend who is also FeLV positive—his current companion is Sophia, and it would be wonderful if they could stay together. Bella Vita Animal Rescue Inc is looking for a "forever foster" who can provide Beau (and Sophia, if possible) plenty of love and care, while the rescue continues to support all their veterinary needs. If you think you can open your heart and home, Beau and Sophia offer endless affection in return. The rescue recommends adopting cats in pairs for their companionship and well-being, with discounts available for adopting more than one cat. They also encourage first-time adopters to review reliable resources on cat care, and are happy to offer advice as needed. Beau is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, house trained, and will need a home prepared with all the essentials to welcome a new feline friend. Fun fact: since Beau was born in June, he’s a Gemini—often thought to be curious and playful! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
