About Paige: Ready For The
Some dogs just seem to wake up happy — and Paige is definitely one of them. At around 10 months to 1 year old, this 28-lb brindle terrier mix is all youthful energy, wagging tail, and goofy charm. Standing about two feet tall, Paige is the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy: big enough for hikes and playtime, but small enough to curl up comfortably when the day winds down. Right now Paige is living in a foster home where she’s been doing great — especially with kids, who she absolutely loves. She’s also been very good with other dogs, happily joining in playtime and socializing like a pro. And play is Paige’s specialty. She currently has access to a big yard where she can stretch her legs, chase toys, and perform the occasional full-speed zoomie lap just for fun. She’s a bit of a goofball at heart, the kind of dog who might gallop around proudly with a stick twice her size or flop down dramatically after a particularly exciting game. Despite her playful side, Paige is also a good walker on leash, which means she’s just as happy exploring the neighborhood or heading out for a walk with her people. No information on how she does with cats just yet, but she’s shown herself to be a social and adaptable pup so far. Paige’s story is a bit of a mystery. She was initially adopted from a shelter, but later was surrendered to a different shelter in a nearby town. Thankfully, one of our rescue partners stepped in quickly and brought her into foster care — where it became clear that Paige is a wonderful dog who simply deserved a better chance. Now she’s ready to find the home that she will never leave. Paige would likely thrive with a family that enjoys an active, playful dog — people who enjoy a little silliness, appreciate a good game of fetch, and are ready to guide a young pup as she grows into the amazing adult dog she’s meant to be. A fenced yard would certainly be a bonus for this playful girl, but the most important thing is a family who appreciates a young dog’s joyful energy.
