Because he continues to exhibit a fear of strangers and may struggle with transitions, he is best suited for a home with children aged 8 years and older who can respect his need for space. To set Baeorn up for success, his new family should focus on low-pressure interactions and proximity-based relationship building. Offering treats and engaging in delicate play are excellent ways to bond, though it is essential to let him initiate contact at his own pace. His home environment must include various accessible hiding places, both high and low, where he can feel secure while observing his surroundings. In his previous home, Baeorn was known to run and hide for a week or more before warming up, so an extended acclimation period is mandatory.
