About Darius
Darius is a striking tuxedo cat with an easy elegance, always looking like he’s in formalwear. Rescued from a state park after being discovered limping in a drainage pipe, this gentleman has overcome quite a bit—an old wrist fracture and a positive FIV test haven’t held him back. Darius gets around just fine, and his FIV status doesn’t stop him from leading a happy, healthy life as long as good care is maintained. In his current FIV-positive community room, he enjoys the company of other cats and the attention of volunteers. He’s become more trusting, now seeking out gentle belly rubs and head butts, but new situations and high activity levels can still make him anxious. Darius does best in calm homes and needs someone patient enough to give him time to open up. Once comfortable, he delivers plenty of affection and charm, rewarding gentle handling with a surprisingly loving personality. If you’re drawn to Darius for his looks, give him space to show his heart—this is a cat who rewards patience. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
