We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue, and these animals are all housed individually with foster families. Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a canine companion. PLEASE NOTE: Cassie will only be adopted out within 30 miles of the Rochester, NY area. Cassie is a sweet, affectionate Great Dane who absolutely loves being around people. She’s a true velcro dog and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Cassie is a quick learner and is currently working on her potty training. She walks nicely on a leash and gets into the car with ease, making her a great companion for adventures. Cassie prefers not to be outside by herself and feels most comfortable when she’s with her people. She also gets along well with other dogs. Cassie is crate trained, though it’s not her favorite place, and she may do a little counter surfing if given the opportunity. She’ll need a home that can keep small items like socks and toys out of reach, as she tends to swallow them. With a little continued training and lots of love, Cassie will make a loyal and wonderful companion.
