Thankfully, she was brought to safety just in time, and it didn't take long for her rescuer to realize she was truly special. Now settled into foster care, Riley has blossomed into a loving, affectionate little companion who adores being near her people. She gets along beautifully with her foster dog siblings and greets everyone she meets with warmth and enthusiasm. Riley is happiest when she's close--ideally curled up in a cozy lap--and her tendency to bounce up excitedly is simply her way of asking, "Can I come snuggle with you?" Like many young pups, Riley is still learning the basics of home life. She's making progress with house training, crate training, and leash walking, and with a little patience and consistency, she will continue to learn. Her eagerness to please and her affectionate nature make her a wonderful student.
