Jameson came to us through a local surrender after his family made the incredibly difficult decision that it simply wasn’t the right time to raise a puppy. Like so many, they led with their hearts—but quickly realized they didn’t have the time or ability to give him what he truly needed. And while that decision wasn’t easy, it was the right one. We’re always here for moments like this—without judgment—because doing right by the dog is what matters most. Now safe in foster care, 16-week-old Jameson has already made himself right at home—both in hearts and in laps. This Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix is smart, active, and full of personality, with just the right balance of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. He’s adjusted beautifully, does great with other dogs (currently has three foster siblings of all sizes), and is ready to find a family who’s prepared to grow with him.
