We recently took in Charlie, Fancy, Fiona, Paris, Mama Ember and Lovie from another rescue org. Sadly, the organization's beloved founder passed away a few months ago and left behind her beloved cats. These kitties are rather shell-shocked right now, but all are sweet and friendly. Our intention now is to find them amazing homes to honor her legacy of dedication to saving cats in Western North Carolina. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. Be the first to meet Fiona at Wild Birds Unlimited, North Asheville, during business hours. They have been kind enough to foster her for us. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
