Pinto is a goofy, affectionate, and playful dog who loves to share his big heart with everyone around him. Once living on the streets, he's now thriving and ready for a home where he can enjoy life to the fullest. Pinto loves playing with other dogs and people, going for long walks or hikes, and soaking up as much affection as he can get. He would be perfect for a home with a yard or for someone who enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle. Pinto does best in a home without cats and would thrive with a family who can give him the exercise and love he craves. He's learning basic commands but is still working on things like jumping and licking when he gets excited. Pinto is incredibly kind-hearted and friendly with dogs of all sizes. Because he's a big, enthusiastic, and sometimes clumsy boy, he would do best with older children and would need supervision around very small dogs to make sure everyone stays safe during playtime. Pinto had a previous surgery that affects his urinary tract, so he will need to stay on a urinary health diet and drink purified water. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement.
