About Pinto

Pinto is a big personality with just as much heart. If you saw those puppy-dog eyes and silly tongue in his photos, that’s just a hint of what you get in real life—he’s all charm and a bit of a goofball. Pinto is self-assured and can light up a room with his energy and his playfulness. He’s affectionate, gives enthusiastic licks, and thinks highly of himself (and honestly, it’s deserved). Playtime and long walks are his favorite, and when there's a garden or some wide-open space, he'll show you pure happiness. Pinto gets along great with other dogs and older or sturdy kids who won’t mind a big guy with a little extra clumsy love. He isn't a fan of cats, so feline-free homes only, please. He’s house trained and always up for making people laugh, even if his timing could use a little polish. Pinto is recovering beautifully after a urinary surgery; he stays healthy with a special urinary diet and purified water, and his caretakers are happy to help you with any questions about this. He's currently being fostered in La Paz, Mexico, but his adoption will be managed from the United States, and his rescue will organize all travel for the right home. If you’re up for a lively, loving, slightly goofy companion, Pinto could be your guy. Click apply to start the adoption process.
