Cleopatra is confused. Two years ago she left our shelter as a tiny puppy. Three days ago... she came back. Her owner sadly lost their home and had no choice but to return her. No one did anything wrong -- life just dealt a hard hand. But Cleopatra doesn't understand that. When I knelt down to see her, she leaned in for a hug and I could feel her little body shaking. I tried to get her ears to perk up for a picture, but she just looked at me like she was trying to figure out where her world went. This sweet girl is now 48 pounds, full grown, housebroken, great with kids, and good with well-mannered dogs. She's only been back with us 3 days, and the sooner she gets out of the shelter again, the better off she will be. Please help us write Cleopatra a new chapter.
