About Gina
Meet Gina - Your Lucky Little Love Gina is a one-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart that's just beginning to shine. Weighing in at a perfect 38 lbs, this medium-sized beauty is the ideal companion for just about any home. Gina's journey hasn't been easy. She was surrendered to a rural shelter alongside her siblings when her beloved owner could no longer care for them due to dementia. Despite the sudden change, Gina has held onto her kind, loving nature-and now, in her foster home, she's slowly learning that the world can be a safe and happy place again. And oh, what a lovely world it becomes with Gina in it. She's incredibly sweet, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is friendly with cats-though she may let them take the lead (she might even be a little intimidated by them!). Her soft, cautious demeanor is blossoming into a playful, affectionate personality as she relaxes and feels more secure each day. Gina is already spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She did test low positive for heartworm, but her treatment is already underway and fully covered by the rescue-she'll be good as new in no time. This fun-hearted girl is just waiting for someone to see her for the loving companion she is. With a little patience and a lot of love, Gina will reward her forever family with loyalty, sweetness, and quiet joy. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion to share your life with, Gina might just be your perfect match. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed. ***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures.
