Meet Stuart, a 28 lb, 2 year old terrier mix. Stuart is a very happy, busy young dog with an exuberant enjoyment of toys! He is house trained, crate trained and loves nothing more than playing with toys, chewing on a bully stick & taking walks. Stuart gets along well with the small dogs in his foster home and is reported to be good with cats. He would love to have a doggy playmate about his size and energy level. He met two much bigger dogs and was a little fearful initially, but warmed up pretty quickly and began playing with them. Stuart loves meeting new people and will hurry to grab a toy to show you. He was intolerant of a young boy in his previous home, so we are seeking an adults only home or one with older teens. He can also resource guard at times. If you are looking for a very playful, very happy young dog, Stuart just might be the right guy for you. His minimum adoption fee is $275 plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
