About Koda

This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet Koda, one half of a loving bonded pair with his sister Kassidi. Koda, a large, black and brown/chocolate German Shepherd Dog born in early 2020, is the social anchor for his family—he greets new people warmly and gently reassures his more reserved sister. Despite losing both of their longtime owners under very difficult circumstances, Koda and Kassidi have found strength in their inseparable bond. Both dogs arrived a bit overweight but have started making healthy progress. Koda shines as the first to explore and encourages Kassidi to enjoy life's adventures with him. They both need a home that can offer patience, love, and enough space to embrace two devoted companions who mean everything to each other. Their playful, sensitive energy will bring comfort and happiness to their new family. If you believe yours is the heart and home big enough for two shepherds devoted to one another, Koda and Kassidi are eager to meet you! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
