About Sol
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Sol came to her shelter after a serious urinary blockage made her previous home unable to manage her ongoing care needs. Her owners acted quickly to get her medical attention, but ultimately, they could not provide the lifelong special needs she would require. Upon arriving at her new shelter, Sol was taken immediately to the veterinarian, where several diagnostic tests led to the discovery and removal of urinary stones that were blocking her urethra and threatening her life. Thanks to swift action, Sol made a speedy recovery and was soon back to her lively, sassy self. To keep Sol healthy and happy going forward, she should remain on a wet food–only diet with very little or no dry food. This helps prevent future urinary issues. A low-stress, calm home is perfect for her, as stress can trigger recurrence of FLUTD. Sol is young, about two years old, and would thrive as an only cat in the home. She is spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Sol is also current on flea and tick prevention. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
