****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** Tracksie was so named because she was found by the railroad tracks. She was tiny, sick, and cold, but still tried to escape her rescuer by clinging to a fence. She calmed down and warmed up quickly before losing her mind over the playground we made in her kennel to give her something to play in. Tracksie is a typical playful kitten looking for a home with lots of new places for her to explore and conquer! Make sure you have lots of toys and some elevated spaces for her to climb and jump. She really likes butt pats too! She has grown into such a sweet and gentle young girl. She also has formed a bond with ther kennel mate Evelyn. The girls are not biologically related but they really love to play, cuddle up and groom one another. Tracksie is the more brave of the two so she helps her floofy 'sister' feel comfortable and together they are just a delight! Tracksie was born at the end of August, 2025. She is wormed, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants.
