Introducing Gracie! This sweet little gal ended up at a high kill shelter in Houston. They added her to the euthansia list because she was terrified. Shaking non-stop even piddling a little bit when I stranger opened her kennel. Thankfully an amazing foster family saw her plea for help and we were able to save her minutes before her deadline. Now on to the best part...Gracie herself. Gracie is the definition of gentle. Life hasn't been kind to her and she is cautious with everything she does, just to make sure you won't be hurt. She slowly creeps toward you wanting so badly to gently lay her head on your lap. She craves love and comfort above all else. Unlike other young cattle dogs, Gracie is very calm. We hope with time she will learn how to be a puppy and play with toys, maybe even be a little rambunctious, but for now she is just a little calm lovebug who wants to follow you everywhere. Gracie likes other dogs but doesn't necessarily need another fur sibling in her home. She rides nicely in the car and walks calmly on leash. She is potty trained and will go in the crate with no objections, but she doesn't really need it because she won't tear up anything. Gracie could fit easily into so many different type of lifestyles. All she really needs is someone who is willing to giver her kindness and love so she can grow into the best version of herself. She is estimated to be 1 yr old and weighs 33lbs.
