About Daisy Bee
Meet Daisy Bee! She’s a beautiful female German Shorthaired Pointer about 3 years old, whom we lovingly call Daisy Bee. Destination Rescue found her during last month’s Texas freeze, hiding under a house to stay warm and occasionally coming out to search for the 4–5 puppies that had been taken from her. They gently coaxed her out and brought her to safety. She arrived thin, cold, dehydrated, and exhausted, but after the vet cared for mastitis, a UTI, GI issues, heartworm treatment, and a spay, she’s thriving. She adores walks in the woods, running and pack-walking with her foster sister, chewing BeneBones, and sleeping in her own bed at night. She learns routines quickly and is fully kennel- and potty-trained. She walks well on a leash and is very protective of her home. She’s starting to play nicely with our big and small dogs and shows friendly interest in the neighboring dogs. She loves snuggles, responds to her name, and reliably comes when called. If you want a loyal, low-maintenance companion who enjoys walks and cuddles (and even wearing PJs when it’s chilly), she might be the perfect girl for you.
