About Bill

Bill and his brother Ted started out wandering rural areas with little food or comfort, just trying to get by. They've come a long way, and now Bill is looking for a family ready to offer him stability and new adventures. Of the pair, Bill is the quieter soul—willing to connect with people, but more reserved than Ted and easily overlooked. He would happily curl up beside you on the couch and stay put for hours, content to just be close. Bill does experience real separation anxiety when left alone and will become quite vocal for company, so potential adopters should be aware he needs a home where someone is frequently around. While he's only been with his brother and hasn't met many other dogs, there's good potential he could adapt to friendly, well-mannered canine companions. Although Bill and Ted are attached, they're available separately or together—each needing structure and training, especially if adopted together, to deal with their codependence. Ted can be possessive over food, sometimes bossing Bill around. If adopting both, training is essential. Bill is about 2 years old and has a classic Shepherd look with a short bicolor coat in yellow, tan, and black, and weighs around 52.2lbs. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
