Meet Hazel: Hazel is a 13 week old (as of March 17, 2026) border collie / shepherd / cattle dog mix (best guess) that weighs 15 pounds. A caring owner of a car repair shop near Memphis had been putting food out for Hazel's mom and dad to try to help them out. He reached out to our rescue to see if we could step in to help them out. It turns out the couple had an unexpected litter in a neighboring antique shop and Hazel was the sole survivor of her litter when we arrived. We are thankful to have been a lie to get to her and help her have a wonderful life! We have also taken in mom and dad and will be working on getting the entire family safe and loving homes! Hazel is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Hazel is very active and loves toys and running in the yard. Hazel is good with dogs, cats and people. Hazel is crate trained and working on her house training, but as a puppy will need some patience while she masters the concept. We would love for Hazel to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Hazel is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
