Meet Lunabelle, a beautiful 4-year-old brown tricolor Australian Shepherd mix who is ready to find her next chapter and a loving forever home. (Breeds are a best guess and not guaranteed.) Lunabelle came to the shelter after her previous owner’s living circumstances changed, but she has remained the same sweet, friendly, and affectionate dog who clearly enjoys being around people. Lunabelle previously lived in a home with children ages 4–10 and could be a wonderful family companion. She is social, enjoys human interaction, and has a gentle nature that makes her easy to love. She has also lived around other dogs and gets along with them the majority of the time. Lunabelle has never lived with cats, so we are unsure how she might do with feline friends in the home. She is potty trained but has not been crate trained. As with any dog transitioning into a new home, we recommend establishing a consistent routine and regular potty schedule to help set Lunabelle up for success while she adjusts to her new environment. As an Australian Shepherd mix, Lunabelle has a thick coat that will require regular brushing and grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. She is definitely a shedder, so future adopters should be prepared to keep up with her coat care.
