About Larry Gene
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder Meet Larry Gene, a short haired tom cat who is approximately two and a half years old. Larry Gene is a funny little guy. He’s sweet and has a bit of spice since he is still learning to be an indoor cat. He also snorts! We don’t think he has any issues we just think it’s part of his charm! Larry loves pets but he can get a bit overstimulated and doesn’t know how to handle it so may try to bite but he’s not aggressive at all. He will stop when you gently say no. An experienced cat owner will do best with him to watch for signs but with time he will settle in perfectly. He has his no no spots and will warn you but he does very well with gentle verbal discipline. Larry Gene may have potential to live with another cat, we would recommend the Jackson Galaxy method of slow introductions. His favorite things include wand toys, pets and greenies. Larry shys away and may hiss at first but he VERY quickly warms up to meeting new people. Personally, I would not recommend a house with children. He is quite the little lover. What Larry Gene is looking for in a home: - He’s new to indoor life with humans, so he needs a kind and patient guide to help him continue adjusting. - He feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment. - He needs to live indoors only so please be mindful of windows and doors. - He has no known history with dogs. - He has no known history with children but he will need them to respect his space. All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Thank you for your interest in adopting Larry Gene! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt him by filling out this questionnaire: https//alleycatproject/adopt Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
