About Rex E. Boy
Rex E. Boy is looking for a new home after his last adoption didnât work out due to clashing personalities with the resident dogâno injuries, just a mismatch. Heâs a large Husky/German Shepherd mix with an impressive DNA background (including Malamute, Samoyed, and Doberman), about 4 and a half years old, and weighs roughly 70 lbs.  Heâs the definition of a happy, smart, and affectionate companion. Rex knows several commandsâsit, down, wait, watch-me, leave itâand is motivated by both treats and people. Heâs housebroken, crate trained, and vaccinated, and heâs also neutered and microchipped. He gets along well with easy-going female dogs but is selective about his canine friends, so he'd do best as the only pet or with a laid-back female dog. Rex is gentle with kids heâs met, loves toys, fetch, car rides, and soaking himself in the garden hose (heâll pass on the pool). That Husky/Shepherd prey drive showsâhe chases small animals, so homes with cats or pocket pets arenât a fit. Rex is medium energy; playful but not wild and enjoys time both inside and out. Youâll find him loving but not needy. If youâre ready for a loyal, bright sidekick who keeps learning and aims to please, Rex E. Boy could be a strong match. Letâs make it official, apply to adopt!
