Rudy is a 3-year-old German Shepherd Dog who came to rescue after a tough start, nervous and unsure of the world. Time with a patient family helped Rudy grow into a loyal companion, especially close with his former person until their passing. Rudy has since returned to rescue and is searching for a new place to belong. He thrives in a home that understands the breed's needs and offers both activity and structure, ideally with adults or older teens. Rudy does well with other dogs, but he's not a fit for homes with young children. His special needs are best met by adopters who truly know and appreciate what makes German Shepherds so devoted. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
