About Bruno

Does this look like the happiest boy or what?!?!?! Meet Bruno Hello! My name is Bruno and I'm good with dogs AND kids. I'm approximately 2 years old, 60-ish pounds, male neutered (what?) Shepherd. I'm told I'm sweet, loving and protective too- a great loyal boy. I was found in San Antonio, Texas in September 2025, wandering the street in a neighborhood. I saw a family that really looked as if they knew what they were doing because they already had 2 dogs, so I followed them and politely asked for assistance. They attempted to find my family, but I had no chip and no one responded to Paw Boost ads or other flyers and such. They've been taking care of me, which is so sweet because I would not have made it on the streets. I'm a good boy but they already have two good dogs, so they're hoping there is another family out there looking for a good boy. I do hope you are similar to my finder family and will provide me with balls and tummy rubs, or Bruno rubs as I like to call them. I'm very smart and know a lot now. I've been working with a trainer both privately and in a puppy class. I can sit, stay, lay down, walk on a leash, respond to come, and fetch. I know how to play ball and frisbee and get the zoomies with the stuffies. What fun! I love when my Foster Mom waters the yard and lets me play in the hose! I get a nice bath and she gets her plants watered. I have playdates with some other neighborhood dogs- sometimes in my yard and sometimes theirs. My BFF is a Great Pyrenees named Darla. We have the best time playing in the sprinkler and dipping in the pool. My family has two office cats that I don't intermingle with, so I don't know if I'd get along with cats. Some known facts- I'm potty and crate trained! As I mentioned, I'm very loyal and protective, so I need the right environment to feel safe and less anxious. My finder family has never had big dogs, so they aren't real sure how to best provide for my needs. If you have experience with Shepherds or other larger breeds, please consider adopting me! Bruno is still in San Antonio, Texas with his finder family, waiting for his call up North so he can become a Colorado boy!
