Roscoe (A567045) is a 7-year-old senior with the sweetest, most gentle soul. He has a calm, quiet demeanor and seems very well-mannered. As soon as we got outside, he went potty right away — twice — which is often a good sign that he may already be housebroken and had likely been holding it. Roscoe walks nicely on leash and only pulls a little when something especially interesting catches his nose... like a pine tree (his personal favorite). Otherwise, he’s happy to stroll along at your side. He sits politely, takes treats with the gentlest mouth, and has the kind of soulful, sad eyes that make you wonder how such a sweet dog ended up in a shelter at all.
