About Leonard
Leonard is a striking black mouth Cur mix with a golden coat and a signature black mask. At about a year and a half old and roughly medium in size, he's already shown his easygoing, affectionate nature. Leonard is heartworm negative, fully vetted, and house trained. He’s gentle with treats, quick to learn new commands, and thrives on attention—though he can be a bit shy in a boarding environment. Once settled into a safe, loving home, Leonard’s playful spirit comes out and he becomes more confident, especially if there's another dog to look up to. He gets along well with other dogs and children, making him a great fit for an active household. Leonard was abandoned in North Carolina with his brother but has proven he’s sweet, friendly, and eager to please. He adores chasing balls, running zoomies in the yard, and is always in the mood for a belly rub. A family that enjoys outdoor activities like running or hiking would be perfect for him—though he’s just as happy soaking up affection at home. Leonard is currently being fostered in Pennsylvania but is available for adoption anywhere in the Northeast, with transportation included in his fee. Give Leonard the chance to be your loyal companion and watch him blossom. Click apply to start the adoption process.
