About Fawn
Fawn is an easygoing, fun-loving Lab/husky mix with classic blonde coloring who was found as a stray in South Dallas. She’s young, likely between two and three years old, and has quickly adapted to home life—she follows her people, soaks up affection, and responds well to gentle corrections. Fawn entertains herself with toys and chews, but never turns down a play partner or a snuggle session. She’s a natural at learning boundaries, and she’s had no accidents indoors. Nights are quiet: she sleeps soundly through until morning. Fawn is eager to please, picks up on new routines fast, and is house trained. She loves riding in the car now, though it took a bit of convincing at first. She enjoys the company of other dogs—big and small—but as with any rescue, proper introductions are a must. She hasn’t been tested with cats. At around 50 pounds with a short coat, she’s a great, manageable size. Fawn is beloved by staff and volunteers and wins over everyone she meets. Heartworm positive, she’s started medication and will soon begin treatment. If you’re looking for a companion who’s affectionate, smart, and social, Fawn is ready for her forever family.
