Deacon is a solid black lab mix male. With short legs, we'd guess he has beagle or basset mixed in there somewhere. Fully grown at 41lbs, our veterinarian estimates that he is was born in 2024. He is as sweet as can be and well behaved. Deacon was found running down the highway and was brought to us by some of our volunteers. With no luck finding his owners, we did find that he is heartworm positive and will need a few treatments to recover. All HSGC pets come with their medical file that shows they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and current on heartworm/flea and tick prevention.
