Now entering her golden years, she's in the middle of decompressing as she settles into a new environment. It takes time for a dog to show their true self when faced with so many changes—new sounds, different faces, and unfamiliar routines can be a lot to take in. Due to all this, Sparta might seem reserved or vocal at first, but that's only part of the process. Already, she's starting to relax. While she can still be barky as she processes her surroundings, Sparta is quick to enjoy her leash walks and the calm of the outdoors. She's not the type to seek out endless play or activity; a laid-back home will suit her perfectly. Her low-energy style matches her desire for a peaceful space where she can unwind. Her relationships with other dogs and cats are still being evaluated, but at this time, she does not get along with cats or other dogs, so a single-animal home is best.
