Currently enjoying life in Buxton, ME, Gumigoo is 2.5 years old, neutered, and weighs about 33 lbs. His vaccinations are up to date, and he’s heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Gumigoo is truly a cuddle companion: he loves naps with his people, snuggling on the bed, or curling up in your lap—though he always respects your boundaries. This clever pup is eager to please, already mastering several commands including sit, wait, leave it, and place. He continues to polish his recall and, being highly food motivated, is a joy to train. His house manners are impressive; he’s house-trained and trustworthy when left alone. Socially, Gumigoo gets along well with other dogs (after a proper introduction) but hasn't been tested with cats. He thrives on activity, loving fetch and outdoor play, and would likely excel in agility or dog sports. Because he has a strong prey drive and reacts to outside activity, a large, secure fenced yard and quiet home—preferably on a low-traffic street—would help him feel his best. He’s crate trained, travels best in a covered crate with music, and early risers will love his 5:30–6:00 AM enthusiasm. While Gumigoo is generally friendly, he can be nervous at the vet and may need extra support, and he’s best matched to adults or families with older children comfortable with energetic, occasionally jumpy greetings.
