About Lefou
Le Fou came into the rescue as a tiny bottle baby, the kind you feed every few hours around the clock. He grew up in foster care, getting stronger and cuter by the day, and just when he was big enough to start looking for his forever home... life threw him a curveball. Le Fou began showing signs of FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) - a serious disease caused by a mutation of a common feline coronavirus that used to be considered fatal. But thanks to new treatments and a foster who knew exactly what to look for, Le Fou started treatment right away. And this boy? He crushed it. Le Fou completed 84 days of treatment, followed by 84 days of observation, and is now successfully treated and thriving. He's since been neutered and is officially cleared to start the next chapter of his life: finding a forever family who will adore him as much as we do. Personality-wise, Le Fou is basically a professional cuddler. His favorite activities include: Being held and snuggled like a baby Sleeping on your chest like a tiny weighted blanket Following you around to make sure you're never lonely Being ridiculously affectionate at all times Le Fou also happens to be a social superstar. He loves: Cats Dogs Kids Basically anyone willing to pet him He would do best in a home with another kitty friend to cuddle and play with. In fact, he would be thrilled to be adopted with his best friend Mouse, the tiny "forever kitten" he lives with in foster care. (Yes, you could have a **pocket-sized cat and a miracle survivor in one household. Imagine the bragging rights.) Le Fou has already proven he's strong, resilient, and full of love. Now all he needs is the one thing he hasn't had yet - a family of his own. Also... have we mentioned he's ridiculously handsome? Because he absolutely knows it. Le Fou didn't just survive - he's ready to thrive. And he'd really like to do that on your couch, preferably on your chest, while you're trying to watch TV.
