We are now accepting applications on Diesel! This little Diesel engine is 10 yrs old & 8 lbs. Don't let his age fool you! He is quite spry & runs around with dogs 1/2 his age just fine! Diesel is a velcro dog & really just wants to be adored by his person all day long. He is dog friendly but would also be fine as an only dog. He can be cat tested if needed. Diesel is not fully house trained, although we are working on it, but he wears belly bands like a champ! He does fine in a crate as well. We were told Diesel was around children in the past. He can get nippy when he is scared so children 12+ who know to give him space when needed should be fine. He will need slow intros to new people. Diesel walks well on a leash. He does not need a fenced in yard but should always be kept on a leash when outside. Applications to adopt are at www.trackingintheshadows.com. Please live within 1 hour of Elkhart, Indiana. Diesel's adoption fee is $150. He is fully vetted for 1 year, neutered, microchipped, & on monthly preventatives. He also recently had a dental with 15 extractions so keeping up on his dental hygiene is a must. Once approved, we will set up a day/time for you to meet Diesel. Please be ready to take him home within 1-3 days after application approval. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. All dogs & cats in the home must be spayed/neutered & up to date on core vaccines & preventatives in order for your application to be approved.*
