I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog J:11Meet Izzy, a 4-year-old, 41-pound bundle of love and curiosity! This sweet shepherd/pittie mix is a total people-shadow who adores being part of the action. She’s always down for an energizing walk, snoozing on the couch, or just watching the world go by from the window. Izzy is house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is super food-motivated (she’ll be your biggest fan at mealtime!). She has a playful, silly side and enjoys a good romp. On walks, she can pull when excited, but she responds well to calm, consistent guidance. Izzy gets along well with other gentle dogs and could thrive as a solo pup or with a well-matched dog buddy. She’s still learning to build confidence with new people and situations, but with patience and love, she’ll blossom. With her alert, people-loving personality and eager-to-please nature, Izzy’s ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.
