1 year old Draco was surrendered but his family to a high kill shelter in south LA because they had to move. Draco was terrified in his kennel and would hide in the back and (understandably) bark at shelter workers as they walked by. Despite the fact that Draco was a scared and confused puppy, this behavior made him eligible for euthanasia. Since we fortunately got him out in time, my hope is that he will find a family that will never again leave him, despite the unexpected obstacles that life has in store.
