This is Kyro. He is a handsome, playful and eager to please Pitt/Shepard/husky/mastiff mix from Southern California. Kyro is a “4th of July” dog. (July 5th is the biggest intake day of the year for shelters in America bc of all the fireworks ). Kyro was brought to the shelter as a stray, but his owner never came for him. Then he was listed for euthanasia in a week due to overcrowding. When Kyro got here he was a skittish, skinny hyena- looking lil pup. Kyro tends to be fearful when experiencing new things and like many rescue pups he struggles with insecurity at times. But in the short time period that he has been here, I have seen him become more confident, attentive and patient everyday. He is an amazing, loving and intelligent guy that plays till he crashes out and sleeps while smiling through his REM cycle. (See pics.) This guy is rambunctious and like any dog, needs guidance, discipline and patience, but this rugged little lover is just excited to find his people.
