Meet Louanne! She was found alone on the streets of Saginaw. No collar. No one looking. No one came for her. And yet… she is still the sweetest girl. This beautiful blue babe is estimated to be around 1–2 years old and is now safe, searching for the forever family she deserves. She is potty trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has wonderful manners (aside from being a little jumper when she’s excited — she just loves her people that much). She isn’t a big barker, but she will whine to let you know she’s ready to come out and be part of the fun. She has been around an 11-year-old and a toddler and has done well, but because she can be jumpy, a home that can continue working on polite greetings would be ideal. She is dog selective and prefers male dogs. No cats for this girl — she did chase and grab one before dropping it, so we want everyone to stay safe. As a blue beauty, she does have some skin sensitivity and is currently thriving on a salmon and sweet potato diet. She will need to be vaccinated and spayed, and we will be getting that scheduled. Despite being let down before at such a young age, she is loving, loyal, and ready to give her whole heart to someone. She just needs the right match. Could that be you?
