About Roma
Roma is a playful and affectionate medium-sized dog with a real love for foodāher name comes from her fondness for tomatoes. She thrives on tug-of-war, long walks or runs, and curling up for belly rubs after sheās thoroughly worn herself out. Roma has made big strides in her foster home; sheās fully house-trained and checks in with her people when itās time to go outside. While she can still be tempted by food left on counters, her manners keep improving as training continues. This clever dog knows how to read other dogsā cues and gives them space, but sometimes sheās not fully aware of her own size around people. For that reason, Roma would do best in a home without small children or babies. Sheās becoming much more social and now enjoys meeting new people, though sheās still a bit wary with strangersāespecially menāand settles in best with slow introductions. Roma is highly food motivated, genuinely sweet, and an enthusiastic cuddler. She basically has two speeds: full energy or totally relaxed. A fenced yard is essential because Roma isnāt quite ready for off-leash adventures just yet. Roma responds well to structure, patience, and ongoing guidance. With consistent support, sheās sure to make a wonderful companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
