Chedda is an 80-pound, affectionate boy who’s all about belly rubs and hanging with his people. While he’s great with adults and handles meeting kids well at events, his enthusiasm for jumping makes him better suited to a home without small children. Chedda previously lived peacefully with a much older mini Schnauzer, but most other dogs don’t seem to be a fit for him—he would do best as the only canine. This spirited cuddler comes house trained, knows how to sit, and has reliable recall. He loves to race around in a fenced yard and will need that space to burn off energy. Chedda isn’t much of a barker, rides calmly in the car, and responds well to affection. He takes Apoquil to manage skin allergies and keeps up with monthly preventatives. Chedda’s leash skills are a work in progress, but he’s eager to learn in the right environment.
