Crystal and Everest are 10-month-old white German Shepherds who came to us severely underweight and suffering from untreated ear infections. When they arrived they weighed only 29 lbs, far below what their breed should weigh at this age. They are slowly gaining weight and healing, but they remain very timid and unsocialized. Despite everything they've been through, they are incredibly gentle and have never shown aggression. Both dogs will need a very patient foster, foster-to-adopt home, or experienced adopter willing to work slowly to build trust and confidence. A secure fenced yard is required, as they are currently flight risks. Crystal is slightly more confident, while Everest is more cautious, but both are sweet dogs who simply need time, patience, and a calm environment to learn that people can be safe. A quiet home without young children is required. Teenagers who understand their needs would be fine. They each need their own separate home.
