OINK has been with us since June 2020. He is a quiet, polite cat who doesn't get pushy or "in your face" about attention. Combine that with what is often considered his "plain tabby" markings and he has been practically invisible to adopters for almost 6 years now. This is truly sad, because Oink is a sweet, friendly boy who loves to be petted and brushed. He also plays like a kitten when you bring the feather toy out. And when you talk to him, he will often talk back with his silly, high-pitched meow. One of Oink's best qualities is that he brings comfort and confidence to the new cats when they move to the lounge. Sure, he might get a little hissy when a new kitten invades his space, but eventually that kitten will be snuggling with Uncle Oink. We've seen it happen again and again. Over the years, Oink has made so many kitty friends, only to watch them get adopted one by one, always without him. From his brother and original bestie, Moo, to more recently his long-term girlfriend, Keira. There never seems to be any room for Oink when his friends go home. Oink has spent his entire life at the lounge, patiently waiting for someone to notice him. This sweet boy really deserves the chance to know what a real home feels like. OINK is neutered, vaccinated, FELV/FIV negative, and HomeAgain microchipped. 100% indoor only and no declawing. All resident pets must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccines.
