About Sully

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Sully is a fun-loving, two-year-old Korean Jindo mix with a zest for life, even after being found on the streets and spending time in a shelter. Thanks to the dedicated staff and RED Rescue, Sully now enjoys his days in a caring foster home, where he thrives during daily training sessions and loves playing fetch outdoors. This spirited boy is overjoyed in the company of other dogs, making him a great match for a multi-dog household or as a loving solo companion. While he’s playful and friendly with dogs, Sully’s curiosity about birds means a home without pocket pets or birds is best. At approximately 50 pounds and with a short, easy-maintenance coat, Sully is a wonderful size for many homes, but he is a bit too exuberant for very young children—older kids eight and up are better suited. He’s smart, eager to learn, and will excel with an adopter who continues his training. A secure, fully fenced yard is required so Sully can enjoy playtime safely. Adopters must live in Western Washington (and possibly Northern Oregon, at the rescue’s discretion), have a secure fenced yard, and provide a sturdy, dog-safe crate (wire and soft-sided crates are not accepted). All meet-and-greets will take place in his Poulsbo, WA foster home, and in-person introductions are required before adoption. Sully is already neutered, vaccinated, and ready to meet the right family! He‘s ready for a new chapter—could it be with you? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
