About Eloise
Hi, my name is Eloise! I'm a 4-5lbs, ~10 year old, pretty & petite princess! Though I'm a shy girl, I am so full of love, snuggles, and kisses. Once I’ve chosen my person and feel safe in my home, my personality truly blooms into something so wonderful! I’ll be the first to admit I'm a nervous girl. The world can be scary for a small pup like myself, but I’ve found ways to conquer the world, one paw at a time. One of those things includes my sister, Bernadette. If she and I are not adopted together, I will need another small dog in the home to help me continue my bravery. It’s important that I meet my new 4-legged companion before committing & it’s important that any potential pup matches are similar to my size. Once I warm up, I truly am such a fun girl. Though I don’t like to share my love with everyone, my 'chosen-person' will always feel like the luckiest person in the world! I do occasionally offer my presence to strangers, when Bernadette shows me it’s okay, but I prefer to stay by my mom. I absolutely love playing in the comfort and safety of my backyard. My foster mom calls me her 'little deer/dear' because I hop and prance around like Bambi. It’s important that I'm supervised in the backyard, as I am the perfect size for a hawk to swoop me up. I don’t enjoy walks as much, as I’d rather be in the arms of my human, but rest assured, I know it’s zoomies time when I’m unleashed in the yard! My ideal adopter will either adopt Bernadette & I together, or will have another little & submissive 4-legged companion at home to show me the world. I need someone that is patient, kind and soft spoken, and someone who understands that I’ll need some time to warm up. I will also need to be in a home without children & large pets. If you’re ready to adopt me (& potentially Bernadette), please reach out today! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our application here: http://www.rchsks.org/our-animals/adopt-a-pet/adopting-a-dog. By filling out the application you are not committing yourself to adopting; it's a screening process that must be completed before you meet the dog. Please do this BEFORE calling. Our voicemail is only checked periodically and you can reach us much faster via dog-coordinators@rchsks.org. Thank you!
