Meet Lace (Lacey)! Lace is a beautiful 6-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Lab mix with a loving heart and a playful spirit. She's the perfect balance of athletic adventure buddy and cozy snuggle companion. Outside, Lace loves to explore with her person, play, and wrestle around. She enjoys being active and would love a human who likes spending time outdoors with her. When the adventure is over, she's happiest indoors relaxing in the same room as her family, taking naps and enjoying some quality cuddle time. Lace has a very maternal and protective nature, and she's incredibly loving with her people. She does wonderfully with children and babies, and she also gets along well with cats and small dogs. She truly enjoys being part of the household and included in everyday life. A couple of her favorite treats are peanut butter and eggs, which always make her tail wag! When outside, Lace should be on a leash or in a securely fenced yard so she can safely enjoy her time exploring. Because of her adorable floppy ears, Lace can sometimes be prone to ear infections, so occasional ear care is important. Her previous owner didn't keep up with nail trimming, so her nail quicks are currently a bit longer than ideal, but a vet has recommended gradually trimming them shorter over time, which is very manageable.
