About Pinky
Pinky is Lovey’s sister and one of their mama dog’s big, sweet pups. At 9 months old, she has energy to burn, plenty of affection for everyone around, and a gentle, friendly streak that makes her easy to fall for. Pinky loves being in the middle of things and thrives on attention. Expect all the wiggly, playful excitement you would from a young, large-breed dog—when she’s happy, she may pop up to greet you with a jump. She learns fast and, with a bit of positive training, will be a terrific companion. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Pinky is house trained and ready for her new family starting mid-February. She gets along well with other dogs. Due to her size and the nature of the breed, no homes with children under 5 can be considered; Saint Bernards are simply too powerful for small kids. Pinky is looking for an indoor home, where she can keep learning and growing into the best version of herself. She’s not aggressive but could unknowingly knock a little one over. All adopters must be ready for a home visit and to keep her inside, since Saint Bernards cannot handle the Texas heat. Pinky is in McKinney, TX. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Pinky
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pinky is a Saint Bernard mix, and dogs like her do best in homes with plenty of indoor space as they are large and need shade, especially in warmer climates. Her breed thrives where she’s a valued member of the family and can avoid extreme heat.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Pinky’s Saint Bernard background means she’ll appreciate a yard or regular walks, but cannot be left outside in hot weather. Regular, moderate activity in a safe, enclosed outdoor area is ideal for her.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While Saint Bernards like Pinky are gentle, their sheer size can accidentally knock over small kids. Pinky isn’t suited for homes with children under 5, but she could be great in families with older children who understand large dogs.
