About Jack

This could be the start of something paw-some. Jack is a very lucky rescue pup who recently made his way from near Lake Chapala, just outside of Guadalajara, to a loving foster home in the greater Portland area. After his journey north, he's settling in, decompressing, and getting used to life in the Pacific Northwest. Jack was found roadside alongside his sister Jill, and he has shown himself to be very affectionate with people he knows. A friendly boy by nature, Jack is energetic, loves to jump, and is an enthusiastic fetch player, making him a great companion for someone who enjoys interactive play. Though he is still adjusting, Jack’s loving spirit shines through and he’s eager for his next big adventure with an adopter. His medical clearance is complete, and he’s up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. At approximately 3 years old, medium-sized, and with a recent weigh-in around 50 pounds, he’s a healthy, vibrant boy ready to bond with a caring family. If you're hoping to add a special new friend to your life, Jack could be the perfect choice. His foster family is learning more about his personality every day, so stay tuned for future updates as he continues to blossom in his temporary home. Fun fact: With a birthday on March 8, Jack is a Pisces—this sign is known for being gentle, affectionate, and soulful, which certainly fits his loving personality. They are waiting with paws crossed!
