About Bennie
Meet Bennie—a gentle soul often described as the softest, most loving little guy around. Bennie’s a black domestic short hair with a penchant for melting into a lap or curling up in a sunny spot, quietly watching the world. He starts out timid, definitely shy when new people arrive, but never lashes out—no hissing, scratching, or swatting. What he really needs is patience and a soft touch, plus a few Churu treats to win him over. Bennie is completely at ease with other cats, following their lead and seeking comfort from friendly feline company. He also gets along great with dogs, especially his foster dog brother, greeting him with gentle rubs. Sometimes he’s extra needy and asks for attention with a meek meow and a little paw on your leg, but at other times he tucks himself away for some alone time. Despite a rough start on the streets, scrounging for scraps with his mother and siblings, Bennie has blossomed into a quiet, affectionate companion who just wants a family as loving as he is. When he’s in the mood to play, Bennie loves toy balls, bells, and laser dots—the latter, he insists, is his to conquer one day. He’s happy to adopt a new name if you like; he’s had a few already, and it’s the love that matters. Born February 1, Bennie is an Aquarius cat: sweet, quirky, and unexpectedly loyal.
