About Oliver
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Oliver, also known as Olieāa remarkable, unique cat whose kitten-like meow is as soft as his spirit. Oliver longs for a special and intuitive human who appreciates the quiet language of cats and understands that trust is a mutual dance. This tall, lean, and athletic boy is a blend of sweet, confident, high-strung, and reservedāall with a quirky twist. One of his most endearing habits, developed in kittenhood, is sitting upright on his tailbone like a little person. If you catch him posing this way, it's a rare treat that will surely warm your heart. Rescued from the streets as a partially socialized kitten, Oliver's path changed when his former family had to move overseas unexpectedly. Since then, he's been in foster care with multiple other cats, longing for a person to help him blossom into the loving and confident companion he can be. He truly deserves a calm home, ideally with few or no other pets, so he can finally shine. Oliver initiates affection on his own terms and prefers to have spaceāwhen he feels safe, heāll flop down for pets and reward you with the sweetest purrs. He can be picked up, but only if you take care to support his belly and gently hold him by your side. He dislikes being confined and flourishes best in open, relaxed environments. Amongst other cats, Oliver is gentle and non-confrontationalāa true beta who brings peace to his company. Heās formed a quiet bond with his fellow foster, Marmalade Sandy, and while they donāt have to be adopted together, their gentle friendship would make for a heartwarming pair. Most importantly, Oliver needs and deserves a permanent, loving homeāwhether it's with or without Sandy. Born under the sign of Leo (August 1st), he carries a bold heart and playful spirit, just waiting for the right person to connect with him. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
