Remember #Malfoy…? Well, his name is now Yeti , and he needs our help more than ever. When Malfoy/Yeti first came to us, he was just a young Great Pyrenees mix, scared and severely underweight at barely 40 pounds, when he should have been so much more. It was clear he hadn’t been properly cared for, and everything about the shelter and us was overwhelming for him. But slowly, day by day, he started learning that people can be kind, hands can be gentle, and life can be good. Then something wonderful happened — Malfoy/Yeti got adopted. We truly believed we had found him the perfect forever home, and we were so incredibly happy for him. He left with a nice couple and an older female doggie friend ! Unfortunately, things didn’t go the way anyone hoped. We have since learned that they rehomed him and now that situation is no longer working out either. Which means this sweet boy is about to be bounced around once more, and that’s the last thing he deserves. Yeti will be coming back to the shelter, but we are urgently trying to find him a home so his stay doesn’t become long at all. A young dog like him should not have to sit in a kennel wondering why he keeps losing his family. We are looking for a responsible adopter familiar with the Great Pyrenees breed or willing to learn about their unique needs. This breed is known for being loyal, intelligent, and protective of their family, but they do best with someone who understands their independent nature, training needs, and space requirements. Sometimes situations change , but we refuse to give up on this boy. He deserves stability. He deserves kindness. He deserves a forever home that will truly be forever.
