Meet Chester.. Chester came into the shelter as a stray on New Years. He eluded capture for a few days and showed his tough guy personality when approached. Once he was brought in, it took quite some time for him to warm up to the staff. We believe he is a 1-2 yr old, Norwich Terrier mix, he is neutered and current on vaccines. Chester is full of energy bouncing off the walls, constantly jumping and excited to see staff daily. We do suggest a home with NO small children, NO other pets, possibly a quieter home with not too much activity, to keep his meeting new people to a minimum. Chester would need to meet his new people multiple times, to get to know them. But once he likes you, he’s up in your lap seeking attention.
